Alliance Française is an international network of organizations in over 100 countries that act as both language schools and cultural centers. They host events and organize French language classes. The individual chapters are run locally, and Alliance Française de Lafayette tries to incorporate local language and culture where they can. They organize beginner-level classes for Louisiana French and Kouri-vini (Louisiana Creole), and they have several levels offered for International French.

As with any language school, it's best to check with the organization about the availability of the specific class you're interested in and its format (1-on-1 or group, virtual or in person, is there a set start date or will they need to reach a minimum number of students before scheduling the class, etc.) before signing up.
